Providing support and resources to these families is not only a moral imperative but also an investment in the future of our communities
This different approach may be a little shocking for you. Many expect from the Government.
But we don’t like to see families being neglected and left empty-handed without doing anything. It is not possible for a child to suffer and we expect the Government to provide a solution. Action needs to be taken urgently and we need more holistic actions.
This approach was designed based on experiences in the USA and based on research that indicates the best possible ways to help someone reintegrate into society. Read very carefully.
Together with our partners, NGOs, we select a family with a child aged 0 to 5 for you to care for for 2 years.
You would be part of a team with 10 other investors who would contribute R$400.00 monthly for 2 years to help a family reintegrate and provide a more stable home for the child during this period.
When integrating, we are talking about parents having a job, having close people to count on, relationships with close people being reestablished. When integrating we are talking about people having their basic needs met;
See below what it would be like (Hypothetical Scenario, as each family has specific needs):
You will receive a monthly family status report from the coordinator. You can also coordinate contact with the family with the coordinator. (For example: The family has 2 children and you would like to take them to Mcdonalds).
ATTENTION:
This product is not for everyone. This product requires a minimum monthly commitment of R$400.00 for 2 years. If you are not sure, please do not enter. The team of 10 people needs to be aware of the risks and we will address them below with great transparency:
Risk 1) Of not working out.
Even with all care in the family selection criteria, the family may not be able to get back on its feet, may not be able to integrate into society in the way we hope. Perhaps there is resistance to change and we have invested money without seeing the expected solution.
Risk 2) Problems with parents over the 2-year period.
Perhaps the parents or one of the parents has some type of problem that makes that family vulnerable. Note that we are talking about extremely vulnerable families. Often a father or mother was in rehabilitation or recovery homes.
Risk 3) That you will not be able to contribute more.
Ideally, this should not happen. But we know that this can happen for several reasons. It is with this objective that Amare retains 15% of donations, to cover contingencies. But please don’t enter if you are uncertain about your financial health. We are working with people’s lives here.
Again, Amare will keep 15% to cover the costs of hiring the coordinator, marketing the products so that other families can learn about them, possible contingencies and administration.
